I started blogging some years ago on MySpace. I quickly discovered that I liked doing it. I was so excited, in fact, that I really tried, quite unsuccessfully, to get my friends and family to do it, too. I guess that I was the only one that found it to be therapeutic.
the words?
I write about everything it seems, so I adopted the title 'the words'. Some days I write about local political issues. Some days I write about a funny thing that happened to me. It doesn't matter. I'm less trying to write for someone else as I am trying to write to get it out of my head into a form that makes sense to me. It's kind of like I'm just organizing my thoughts, so to speak. Why put my thoughts out there for everyone to see? I'm an open book. What can I say?
Personal Interests
I love to read. I enjoy making things or building things. I like home renovation projects. I love music. I play guitar, sing, whistle, and am glad that mp3s can't wear out. I love playing sports, but don't have much time for it. I don't watch any sport on television but international soccer. I don't think that there has ever been a game I like playing more than soccer.
Beliefs
I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God the Creator. I believe that He lives in all those who ask Him to and who lay down their own lives, wants, and desires and decide to live a life letting Him lead. The life He gives is so much greater than any life I could make of my own.
For Money
It'd be great if I could do exactly the thing I love to do most for a living, but my wife just refuses to pay me to hang out with her. So, I have put in 3 1/2 years in the food industry, a year in Fitness Equipment Distribution, and 15 years in Diesel ReManufacturing.
